Deacon Harry Prestwood Deacon John Simmons We are very fortunate to have these two dedicated ministers of the Lord here at Most Blessed Sacrament Church.  About Deacon Harry :   I was ordained in 1981, twenty seven years ago. I have had three assignments in that time. First at Epiphany Church, then at Resurrection and now at Most Blessed Sacrament Church I have been at MBS for thirteen years. I was Director of Christian Services at Resurrection and after four years became the Administrator as well. While there I was active in the South Central Ministerial Association becoming the president and holding that post for eight and a half years. This association set up Ministries United South Central Louisville, or known as MUSCL.  Helping the poor of the area in any way that was needed. We worked closely with the 700 Club in Louisville to accomplish this task. Before coming to MBS I was also President of Our Lady's Rosary Makers on Poplar Level Road. I held that post for seven years. At MBS I started a Bible Study group twelve years ago under the urgings of Fr. Ray Hughes, C.R.. It is still in operation. We meet on Monday evenings in the Holy Spirit Room at MBS at 7:00 p.m. I am also a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, Newman Council. At the present time I am studying Biblical Hebrew.
